Our Connect With Parents
Guidelines for Parents and Guardians

The cooperation of parents and guardians is essential in maintaining a disciplined, supportive, and academically enriching environment for every student. We appreciate your continued partnership with Sree Saradha School in nurturing responsible, confident, and successful learners.

  1. Familiarity with School Rules: Parents and guardians are expected to understand the school’s rules, regulations, and policies and ensure that their children follow them sincerely.
  2. Regular Monitoring of the School Diary: Parents should check their child’s school diary daily for notes, instructions, or feedback from teachers and take the necessary action promptly.
  3. Encouraging Regular Study Habits: Parents are requested to promote punctuality, discipline, and regular study habits at home. Children should complete their assignments on time and dedicate sufficient time to daily studies.
  4. Updating Contact Information: Parents must ensure that their current residential address and telephone numbers are registered with the school office. Any changes must be communicated to the school without delay.
  5. Participation in Parent-Teacher Meetings: Attendance at parent-teacher meetings is essential, as these interactions help parents understand their child’s academic progress, behaviour, and overall development.
  6. Visits to Classrooms: Parents and guardians should not enter classrooms or meet teachers during teaching hours without obtaining prior permission from the Principal.
  7. School Tours and Excursions: Information regarding school-organized tours and excursions will be communicated to parents in writing. The school will not be responsible for trips or outings arranged without its authorization.
  8. Creating a Supportive Home Environment: Parents play an important role in shaping their children’s behaviour and attitudes. They are encouraged to provide a caring, supportive, and positive home environment that promotes good conduct and learning.
  9. Reviewing Academic Feedback: Teachers may record remarks regarding a student’s academic performance, conduct, or progress in the school diary. Parents should review these entries daily and work with teachers to address any concerns.
  10. Submission of Leave Requests: Leave applications should be submitted by parents or guardians directly, following the school’s prescribed procedure. This helps the school verify requests and maintain accurate attendance records.
  11. Gifts to School Staff: Parents and guardians are requested not to offer gifts to any member of the school staff unless specific permission has been granted by the Principal.
  12. Ensuring Proper Nutrition: Parents should ensure that their children have a nutritious meal before coming to school so that they can participate actively in classroom learning and other activities.
  13. Disclosure of Medical Conditions: Parents or guardians must inform the Principal in writing about any congenital conditions or special medical needs that may require the school’s attention. Relevant details should also be entered in the designated section of the school diary.
  14. Birthday Celebrations: Parents are requested to avoid sending individual gifts or cakes for distribution among students on their child’s birthday. If they wish to share a birthday treat, only branded, individually wrapped chocolates may be sent, subject to school guidelines.
